Scrappy little bag, a snapshot crochet pattern, part 3

image

Feeling the end is near.  One last row of tripples.

A final row of flat singles or two for strength.

The base of bag is done, strong and washable – perfect for an 8-year-old. Tie off, trim or weave in, however you prefer. Now for strap and decorations.  You could stop right now and you would have a very fun hat. Chain about 150, then double double crochet and tie off end to create strap.  (My apologies that the strap picture was a fail and has been removed.)

Weave strap in and out of that top row of tripples.  Tie a bow on one side and cinch tight.

Voila! Technically, we are done. Jazz it up from here to suit your tastes.

  1. Going to have to edit this post later tonight. For some reason, this is the only post that total failed on the picture captions. My apologies for those trying to use the pattern. I am enjoying the holiday and will repair it soon.
    Mahalo.
